PLDT has launched their new PLDT Telpad last year. PLDT Telpad is a wired landline and an android tablet all in one. There are 2 tablets to choose from, a Huawei S7 Slim and a Huawei Ad1000a which are capable of playing videos and music, browse the internet using a wifi connection (no 3G), viewing photos and playing games. Existing PLDT MyDSL subscribers can avail the Telpad by upgrading their plan from any of the four plans with the least plan of P1849 with speed upto 1mbps, plan P2099 at 1.5mbps, P3095 at 3.5mbps and plan P4100 at 5.5mbps. Non-PLDT subscribers can also avail Telpad by first applying for a PLDT landline and DSL and have to pay P5500 in full or P475/month for 12 months or P250/month for 24 months. But the bad news is, this tablet is sold out on their website and at best buy online. So if you are in the philippines and wanting to buy this tablet, there will be no luck.
